Postpartum Doula Support: Grounded, Nurturing and Flexible Care for Life After Birth

A postpartum doula offers thoughtful, hands-on support and education during the tender weeks after birth—a time of deep transformation for the whole family. With a calm presence and practical guidance, they help ease the transition into parenthood and create space for healing, bonding, and rest.

What to Expect from a Postpartum Doula:

No two postpartum experiences are the same. Postpartum doulas tailor our care to the unique needs of each family, offering support that may include newborn care, feeding guidance, light household tasks, emotional processing, and space for the birthing parent to recover with confidence. Perinatal mental health, parent-baby relationships and functional household operations are of top priority for a postpartum doula.

Whether you’ve just returned home from the hospital or are settling into life with a new baby, your doula is there to support the whole household—offering reassurance, resources, and rest when you need it most.

Birth Doula Support: Compassionate, Personalized Care Every Step of the Way

A birth doula offers dedicated birth coaching and support to you and your partner that is essential throughout pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. We are there to provide a grounding presence, informed guidance, and emotional care as you prepare to, and eventually welcome your baby earthside.

What to Expect from a Birth Doula:

Every birth is unique, and so is every family. That’s why, as a birth doula, we tailor our care to meet the specific needs of the people we’re supporting. No matter the birth plan or setting (including hospitals, birthing centers and home births), the doula’s role remains the same: to empower the birthing person, prepare their team for what’s to come, and help lay a strong foundation for the postpartum transition for the entire family.

Your doula will be by your side during labor and birth—whether at a home birth or in a hospital—and continue to offer support immediately afterward. A postpartum follow-up visit is also included to ensure you're held and supported during the early days of parenthood and have all the resources you need for success.
